I’m Sjoerd van Straten, PhD candidate at the Process Analytics group in the Department of Mathematics and Computer Science at Eindhoven University of Technology (TU/e). I received my MSc in Data Science and Artificial Intelligence and my BSc in Structural Engineering from TU/e. Working under the supervision of Dr. Ing. Marwan Hassani, I am deeply passionate about creating robust, dynamic algorithms that drive innovation in process mining. Specifically, my work explores the intersection of foundation models, predictive process monitoring, stream process mining and continual learning to build intelligent systems capable of adapting to evolving event streams.
